  1. Liquidate the estate, pay off your remaining and distribute the estate
  2. Maintain bookkeeping/records of transactions and/or hire a professional to keep records
  3. Determine the validity of requests for early distributions by beneficiaries for health, education, maintenance or support needs
  4. Before you pass, act as a "financial power of attorney" for assets in the trust during an incapacitation of the initial trustee(s) - who are typically you (and your spouse)
