Our mission is making living trust estate plans affordable for all Arizona residents, especially parents of dependent children needing named guardians and a method for safely distributing assets.
A common question we get asked is how, or rather why our living trust estate plans cost less than others. Three (3) factors keep our costs down.
First, we annually spend less than $1,000 on marketing (including this website), while some estate planners spend much more than that in a month on mailers you may see in your mailbox. Most of our business comes via referral from insurance agents & financial planners who are unable to receive referral fees.
Second, Four Peaks Planning, Inc.'s office is home-based. Very quickly it was identified people were much more eager to meet at their home than an office. Without the rent of an office, those savings are passed to you. Should you prefer an office setting, we have offices available to meet via the insurance agents and financial planners in your neighborhood to keep your drive convenient.
Third, attorney time is minimized to answering legal questions and preparing your legal documents. Providing general information (not legal advice), reviewing your finished documents and notarization of your signatures is done by our estate planner, Jamie Kahn, who worked for one of Arizona's largest estate planning firms prior to starting his own firm in 2005.
Attorney Thomas Leavell of Leveall & Rivera, PLC and K. Joseph Hill of The Law Office of K. Joseph Hill are our two attorneys preparing legal documents.
The most common compliments received are how the planning process was much simpler and less stressful than anticipated, the convenience by having us visit people at their homes and that they appreciated the personal touch.
While an estate plan is nothing to take lightly, for most people it is something that can be done in a relatively short period of time and without stress.
